Certified doorsets for Barnes
Fire Rated Doors covers Barnes and the surrounding Greater London area with complete certified doorsets: FD30 and FD30S for flats and corridors, FD60 for compartment walls, steel doors for plant and exits.
Whether your building is in central Barnes or on its edges towards Chiswick, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Which rules apply in Barnes?
In Barnes, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
London has the UK's largest concentration of purpose-built flats and high-rise residential blocks, so flat entrance doors, communal corridor doors and regulation 10 checks drive much of the demand.
