Getting acoustic fire doors fitted in Northamptonshire
Across Northamptonshire we handle acoustic fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
What the law says in Northamptonshire
Because Northamptonshire is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do acoustic fire doors cost in Northamptonshire?
Guide prices for acoustic fire doors in Northamptonshire run from about £1,100 to £2,000 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.
