Getting composite fire doors fitted in Northamptonshire
Throughout Northamptonshire, including Northampton, Corby and Kettering, we survey, quote and fit certified composite fire doors as complete certified doorsets, with the manufacturer's certificate reference on every quote.
Fire door rules in Northamptonshire
Because Northamptonshire is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of composite fire doors in Northamptonshire
Expect roughly £1,200–£2,200 per door for composite fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Northamptonshire quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
