Acoustic fire doors in Northampton: how we work
We fit acoustic fire doorsets in Northampton and the rest of Northamptonshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Northampton is one of the main towns we cover in Northamptonshire; tell us your dates and we'll arrange a survey.
Which rules apply in Northampton?
Because Northampton is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of acoustic fire doors in Northamptonshire
Guide prices for acoustic fire doors in Northampton run from about £1,100 to £2,000 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.
