What the law says in Northamptonshire
New and replacement fire doors in Northamptonshire are specified under the Building Regulations 2010 and Approved Document B. In workplaces and the common parts of blocks of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep fire doors in working order, and in residential buildings with a storey above 11 metres regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 adds quarterly checks of communal doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors.
What do fire door installation cost in Northamptonshire?
Our guide price for fire door installation in Northamptonshire is £750 to £1,150 per FD30 doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.

Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
How quickly can you survey in Northamptonshire?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Northamptonshire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Do you supply fire doors without fitting?
We focus on supply and fit, because certification usually depends on correct installation. Talk to us if you have a contractor-led project.
