Stairwell & Escape Route Doors for Sutton Coldfield buildings
We fit doors onto protected stairs and escape routes in Sutton Coldfield and the rest of West Midlands. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Sutton Coldfield is about 7 miles from Birmingham; we cover both, along with Washwood Heath, Aldridge and Aston.

Because Sutton Coldfield is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
