Security Fire Doors for Jarrow buildings
We fit fire and security rated doorsets in Jarrow and the rest of Tyne and Wear. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Our Tyne and Wear coverage includes Jarrow and its neighbours Hebburn, Wallsend and South Shields; tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Fire door rules in Jarrow
Fire doors in Jarrow sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
