Security fire doors in Paignton: how we work
If your fire risk assessment in Paignton has flagged doors to replace, we can schedule, quote and fit fire and security rated doorsets to match its recommendations. Surveys in TQ3 are free and quotes are fixed and itemised.
Whether your building is in central Paignton or on its edges towards Torquay, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Regulations for security fire doors in Devon
Because Paignton is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do security fire doors cost in Paignton?
Guide prices for security fire doors in Paignton run from about £1,600 to £3,500 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.

Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset in Paignton.
What does a Paignton quote include?
Survey, certified doorset, ironmongery, installation, removal of old doors and a handover pack. VAT is added at the standard rate.
