School fire doors in Bedfordshire: how we work
Our Bedfordshire service covers school fire doors for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Luton, Bedford and Dunstable.
Regulations for school fire doors in Bedfordshire
New and replacement fire doors in Bedfordshire are specified under the Building Regulations 2010 and Approved Document B. In workplaces and the common parts of blocks of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep fire doors in working order, and in residential buildings with a storey above 11 metres regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 adds quarterly checks of communal doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors.
School fire doors prices in Bedfordshire
Budget around £1,100 to £2,400 per doorset for school fire doors supplied and fitted in Bedfordshire, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
Buildings that need school fire doors
