Riser cupboard fire doors in Fulham

Getting riser cupboard fire doors fitted in Fulham

We fit fire-rated riser and service cupboard doors in Fulham and the rest of Greater London. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.

Our Greater London coverage includes Fulham and its neighbours Chelsea, Putney and Battersea; tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.

Which rules apply in Fulham?

New and replacement fire doors in Fulham are specified under the Building Regulations 2010 and Approved Document B. In workplaces and the common parts of blocks of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep fire doors in working order, and in residential buildings with a storey above 11 metres regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 adds quarterly checks of communal doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors.

Cost of riser cupboard fire doors in Greater London

Budget around £550 to £950 per single doorset for riser cupboard fire doors supplied and fitted in Fulham, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.

Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.

We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.

Common questions in Greater London

Which rules do riser cupboard fire doors in Fulham need to meet?

They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.

How quickly can you survey in Fulham?

We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Fulham visits with other work in Greater London. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.

Can you work around tenants or staff in Fulham?

Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.

Do you fire-stop the riser itself?

Fire-stopping is specialist work outside our doorset scope, but we report gaps we see so you can get them addressed.
