What the law says in County Down
Fire doors in County Down follow Northern Ireland's Technical Booklet E for building work, with the 2006 Fire and Rescue Services Order and the 2010 Fire Safety Regulations covering duties in existing premises.
Cost of riser cupboard fire doors in County Down
Budget around £550 to £950 per single doorset for riser cupboard fire doors supplied and fitted in County Down, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
