Our Bromsgrove supply and fit service
Looking for fire rated glazed screens in Bromsgrove? Our supply and fit service covers B61 and the surrounding area, including Redditch and Droitwich. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Where possible we combine Bromsgrove surveys with other visits in Worcestershire, such as Redditch and Droitwich, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Regulations for fire rated glazed screens in Worcestershire
In Bromsgrove, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in Bromsgrove?
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Bromsgrove, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.

Questions about fire rated glazed screens in Bromsgrove
Do you remove the old doors?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset in Bromsgrove.
Can you fit just one door in Bromsgrove?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Worcestershire.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Bromsgrove?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Steel or timber screens?
Both are available. Timber matches timber doorsets; steel suits slim sightlines and higher ratings.
