Our Harwich supply and fit service
Looking for fire rated glazed screens in Harwich? Our supply and fit service covers CO12 and the surrounding area, including Felixstowe and Ipswich. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Whether your building is in central Harwich or on its edges towards Felixstowe, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Fire door rules in Harwich
Because Harwich is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in Harwich?
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Harwich, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.
