Fire-Rated Screens & Fanlights for Colchester buildings
Need fire rated glazed screens in Colchester? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Essex, starting with a free measure survey in and around CO1. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Whether your building is in central Colchester or on its edges towards Sudbury, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Regulations for fire rated glazed screens in Essex
Because Colchester is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Fire rated glazed screens prices in Colchester
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Colchester, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
