We cover Norwich and the rest of Norfolk, with surveys arranged around your building's access and occupancy.

Which rules apply in Norwich?

In Norwich, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.

Fire rated glazed screens prices in Norwich

Guide prices for fire rated glazed screens in Norwich run from about £1,400 to £4,500 per screen, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.

We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.

Common questions in Norfolk

Is the survey in Norwich free?

Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.

Can you fit just one door in Norwich?

Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Norfolk.

Can you work around tenants or staff in Norwich?

Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.

Can screens be added to an existing fire door?

Only as part of a tested or assessed assembly. Usually the door and screen are replaced together.
