Regulations for FD30 fire doors in Norfolk
In Norwich, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Norfolk centres on Norwich's city centre, offices and student housing, with Great Yarmouth's hotels and King's Lynn's industrial estates.

Questions about fire doors in Norwich
Do you cover Norwich?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit fire doors throughout Norwich and the rest of Norfolk, including NR1 and nearby Bowthorpe.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Norwich?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Norwich?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
How quickly can you survey in Norwich?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Norwich visits with other work in Norfolk. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
