Certified fire rated glazed screens for Hatfield
We fit fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights in Hatfield and the rest of Hertfordshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Hatfield is about 11 miles from Watford; we cover both, along with Welwyn Garden City, St Albans and Potters Bar.
Which rules apply in Hatfield?
Fire doors in Hatfield sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Guide prices in Hatfield
