Your questions answered
Can you work around tenants or staff in Welwyn Garden City?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Is the survey in Welwyn Garden City free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Do you remove the old doors?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset in Welwyn Garden City.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
