For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Torquay, we provide fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.

Regulations for fire rated glazed screens in Devon
In Torquay, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Fire rated glazed screens prices in Torquay
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Torquay, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
Typical uses in Torquay
Reception and lobby screens and doors with fanlights are among the most common settings for fire rated glazed screens, in Torquay as elsewhere.
Devon's demand comes from Plymouth's post-war city centre and naval estate, Exeter's offices and student housing, and coastal hotels.
