Fire rated glazed screens in Plymstock: how we work
Getting fire rated glazed screens right in Plymstock means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
Whether your building is in central Plymstock or on its edges towards Plymouth, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
What the law says in Plymstock
In Plymstock, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in Plymstock?
Guide prices for fire rated glazed screens in Plymstock run from about £1,400 to £4,500 per screen, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
