Fire rated glazed screens in St Austell: how we work
We cover St Austell and nearby Truro for fire rated glazed screens, with surveys booked around your building's access and occupancy. Each door is quoted individually, so you can see what every opening costs and why.
Where possible we combine St Austell surveys with other visits in Cornwall, such as Truro and Newquay, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
What the law says in St Austell
Because St Austell is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in St Austell?
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in St Austell, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
