Your questions answered
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Carrickfergus?

Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Which rules do fire rated glazed screens in Carrickfergus need to meet?
They are specified to Technical Booklet E (Northern Ireland) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
