Certified fire rated glazed screens for Newquay
Looking for fire rated glazed screens in Newquay? Our supply and fit service covers TR7 and the surrounding area, including Truro and St Austell. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Newquay is about 11 miles from Truro. Wherever your building is in TR7, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Which rules apply in Newquay?
Fire doors in Newquay sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in Newquay?
Expect roughly £1,400–£4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens, fitted, ex VAT. Your Newquay quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
