Certified fire door closers and ironmongery for Kirkcaldy
Looking for fire door closers and ironmongery in Kirkcaldy? Our supply and fit service covers KY2 and the surrounding area, including Glenrothes and Edinburgh. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Where possible we combine Kirkcaldy surveys with other visits in Fife, such as Glenrothes and Edinburgh, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
What the law says in Kirkcaldy
In Kirkcaldy the building standards come from the Scottish Technical Handbooks rather than Approved Document B, and existing non-domestic premises fall under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005. We specify doorsets against the Scottish requirements and your fire risk assessment.
