Your questions answered
How quickly can you survey in Gerrards Cross?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Gerrards Cross visits with other work in Buckinghamshire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Gerrards Cross?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Which rules do FD90 and FD120 fire doors in Gerrards Cross need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Are FD120 doors always steel?
Most are, though some specialist timber and composite systems hold longer ratings. The evidence for the exact configuration is what counts.
