Fire door rules in Ayr
Scotland has its own system: new and replacement fire doors in Ayr are designed to the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 and the Technical Handbooks (Section 2, Fire). For non-domestic premises, the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 place duties on whoever controls the building.
