Composite fire doors in Eastleigh

Our Eastleigh supply and fit service

Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits composite fire doors in Eastleigh, Hampshire. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.

Eastleigh is about 5 miles from Southampton; we cover both, along with Southampton, Winchester and Totton.

Fire door rules in Eastleigh

Because Eastleigh is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

What do composite fire doors cost in Eastleigh?

Budget around £1,200 to £2,200 per door for composite fire doors supplied and fitted in Eastleigh, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.

Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.

Where composite fire doors are needed

External doors to communal stairs and low-maintenance replacements are among the most common settings for composite fire doors, in Eastleigh as elsewhere.

Hampshire spans Southampton and Portsmouth's port cities, student and naval housing, and commuter towns with business parks and new estates.
