Steel fire doors in Eastleigh

Our Eastleigh supply and fit service

Getting steel fire doors right in Eastleigh means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.

Eastleigh is about 5 miles from Southampton; we cover both, along with Southampton, Winchester and Totton.

Which rules apply in Eastleigh?

In Eastleigh, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.

Guide prices in Eastleigh

Our guide for steel fire doors is £1,100–£2,600 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Eastleigh are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.

Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
