Fire doors in Lichfield
Whether your Lichfield building needs one replacement fire door or a full programme, we survey, quote each opening with its certificate reference and fit to the manufacturer's instructions.
Lichfield is about 27 miles from Stoke-on-Trent. Wherever your building is in WS13, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
What the law says in Lichfield
In Lichfield, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Staffordshire combines the Potteries' industrial buildings with Stafford, Burton and Tamworth's logistics, schools and town centres.

Questions about fire doors in Lichfield
Do you remove the old doors?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset in Lichfield.
Do you cover Lichfield?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit fire doors throughout Lichfield and the rest of Staffordshire, including WS13 and nearby Burntwood.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Lichfield?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Lichfield?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
