Security fire doors in Lichfield: how we work
We fit fire and security rated doorsets in Lichfield and the rest of Staffordshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
We cover WS13 and the surrounding area, including Burntwood. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Fire door rules in Lichfield
Because Lichfield is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Guide prices in Lichfield
Guide prices for security fire doors in Lichfield run from about £1,600 to £3,500 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
