Certified doorsets for Stamford
Fire Rated Doors covers Stamford and the surrounding Lincolnshire area with complete certified doorsets: FD30 and FD30S for flats and corridors, FD60 for compartment walls, steel doors for plant and exits.
Stamford is about 40 miles from Lincoln; we cover both, along with Oakham, Peterborough and Corby.
What the law says in Stamford
In Stamford, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Lincolnshire's demand spans Lincoln's student housing and city centre, Grimsby and Scunthorpe's industry, and coastal holiday accommodation.

Questions about fire doors in Stamford
Which rules do fire doors in Stamford need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Stamford?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Stamford?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
How quickly can you survey in Stamford?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Stamford visits with other work in Lincolnshire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
