Certified doorsets for Wallington
Whether your Wallington building needs one replacement fire door or a full programme, we survey, quote each opening with its certificate reference and fit to the manufacturer's instructions.
Where possible we combine Wallington surveys with other visits in Greater London, such as Carshalton and Sutton, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Fire door rules in Wallington
In Wallington, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
London has the UK's largest concentration of purpose-built flats and high-rise residential blocks, so flat entrance doors, communal corridor doors and regulation 10 checks drive much of the demand.

Questions about fire doors in Wallington
How quickly can you survey in Wallington?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Wallington visits with other work in Greater London. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Wallington?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Wallington?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Which rules do fire doors in Wallington need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
