Certified doorsets for Llanelli
We supply and fit certified fire doorsets in Llanelli for flats, HMOs, homes, workplaces and public buildings — every rating from FD30 to FD120, quoted door by door after a free measure survey.
We cover Llanelli and the rest of Dyfed, with surveys arranged around your building's access and occupancy.
Which rules apply in Llanelli?
In Llanelli the specification follows Approved Document B as published for Wales, while day-to-day duties to keep fire doors working come from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The England-only door-check regulations of 2022 don't apply in Wales, but regular checks remain good practice and are expected by fire risk assessors.
West Wales demand comes from Llanelli's town centre and industry, university housing and coastal hotels and guest houses.

Questions about fire doors in Llanelli
Can you work around tenants or staff in Llanelli?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Which rules do fire doors in Llanelli need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (Wales) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Do you remove the old doors?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset in Llanelli.
Is the survey in Llanelli free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
