Our Gateshead supply and fit service
For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Gateshead, we provide acoustic fire doorsets with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.
Whether your building is in central Gateshead or on its edges towards Newcastle upon Tyne, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
What the law says in Gateshead
Fire doors in Gateshead sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
