Our Gateshead supply and fit service
Looking for composite fire doors in Gateshead? Our supply and fit service covers NE8 and the surrounding area, including Newcastle upon Tyne and Felling. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Where possible we combine Gateshead surveys with other visits in Tyne and Wear, such as Newcastle upon Tyne and Felling, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Which rules apply in Gateshead?
New and replacement fire doors in Gateshead are specified under the Building Regulations 2010 and Approved Document B. In workplaces and the common parts of blocks of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep fire doors in working order, and in residential buildings with a storey above 11 metres regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 adds quarterly checks of communal doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors.
Guide prices in Gateshead
