Steel fire doors in Kirkcaldy

Steel fire doors in Kirkcaldy: how we work

Looking for steel fire doors in Kirkcaldy? Our supply and fit service covers KY2 and the surrounding area, including Glenrothes and Edinburgh. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.

Kirkcaldy is about 12 miles from Dunfermline; we cover both, along with Glenrothes, Edinburgh and Dunfermline.

Which rules apply in Kirkcaldy?

Scotland has its own system: new and replacement fire doors in Kirkcaldy are designed to the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 and the Technical Handbooks (Section 2, Fire). For non-domestic premises, the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 place duties on whoever controls the building.

Cost of steel fire doors in Fife

Budget around £1,100 to £2,600 per single doorset for steel fire doors supplied and fitted in Kirkcaldy, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.

We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
