Our Kidderminster supply and fit service
Looking for stairwell fire doors in Kidderminster? Our supply and fit service covers DY11 and the surrounding area, including Stourport-on-Severn and Stourbridge. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Where possible we combine Kidderminster surveys with other visits in Worcestershire, such as Stourport-on-Severn and Stourbridge, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Which rules apply in Kidderminster?
Because Kidderminster is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of stairwell fire doors in Worcestershire
Expect roughly £850–£1,400 per single doorset for stairwell fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Kidderminster quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
