Certified fire door replacement for Kidderminster
We fit fire door replacement with certified doorsets in Kidderminster and the rest of Worcestershire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Kidderminster is about 14 miles from Worcester; we cover both, along with Stourport-on-Severn, Stourbridge and Kingswinford.
Fire door rules in Kidderminster
Fire doors in Kidderminster sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Cost of fire door replacement in Worcestershire
Guide prices for fire door replacement in Kidderminster run from about £750 to £1,150 per doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
