Certified security fire doors for Worcestershire
Across Worcestershire we handle security fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
What the law says in Worcestershire
In Worcestershire, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of security fire doors in Worcestershire
Guide prices for security fire doors in Worcestershire run from about £1,600 to £3,500 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.

Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
How quickly can you survey in Worcestershire?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Worcestershire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Do you cover the whole of Worcestershire?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit security fire doors across Worcestershire, including Worcester, Redditch and Kidderminster.
Can any fire door be made secure?
Adding security hardware to a fire door without evidence can void its fire rating. Choose a doorset certified for both.
