Security Fire Doors for Weston-super-Mare buildings
We fit fire and security rated doorsets in Weston-super-Mare and the rest of Somerset. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Where possible we combine Weston-super-Mare surveys with other visits in Somerset, such as Burnham-on-Sea and Clevedon, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Fire door rules in Weston-super-Mare
In Weston-super-Mare, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do security fire doors cost in Weston-super-Mare?
Guide prices for security fire doors in Weston-super-Mare run from about £1,600 to £3,500 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.

Common questions in Somerset
Can you work around tenants or staff in Weston-super-Mare?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Is the survey in Weston-super-Mare free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Which rules do security fire doors in Weston-super-Mare need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Steel or timber?
Both are available; steel suits the higher LPS 1175 grades.
