Our Elgin supply and fit service
Getting security fire doors right in Elgin means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
Elgin is about 35 miles from Inverness. Wherever your building is in IV30, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Regulations for security fire doors in Highlands, Moray & Islands
In Elgin the building standards come from the Scottish Technical Handbooks rather than Approved Document B, and existing non-domestic premises fall under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005. We specify doorsets against the Scottish requirements and your fire risk assessment.
What do security fire doors cost in Elgin?
Budget around £1,600 to £3,500 per single doorset for security fire doors supplied and fitted in Elgin, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.
