Certified school fire doors for Clevedon
We fit fire doors for schools, surgeries and care homes in Clevedon and the rest of Somerset. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Clevedon is about 22 miles from Bath. Wherever your building is in BS21, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
What the law says in Clevedon
In Clevedon, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.

Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Can you fit just one door in Clevedon?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Somerset.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Clevedon?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Do these doors need vision panels?
Doors across corridors normally do, for safeguarding and accessibility.
