Our Clevedon supply and fit service
We fit FD30S smoke control doorsets for flats, stairs and corridors in Clevedon and the rest of Somerset. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Where possible we combine Clevedon surveys with other visits in Somerset, such as Nailsea and Portishead, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Fire door rules in Clevedon
Because Clevedon is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Guide prices in Clevedon
Budget around £800 to £1,250 per single doorset for FD30S fire doors supplied and fitted in Clevedon, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.
