Fire doors in Rutland sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Cost of school fire doors in Rutland

School fire doors in Rutland: questions
Can you work around tenants or staff?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
How quickly can you survey in Rutland?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Rutland. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can you fit just one door?
Yes — from a single door to a full building.
What size doors do care settings need?
Corridor doors often need leaf-and-a-half or wide single doorsets for beds and wheelchairs. We measure and propose clear widths that suit.
