Our Camden Town supply and fit service
Looking for school fire doors in Camden Town? Our supply and fit service covers NW1 and the surrounding area, including Chalk Farm and Holloway. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Camden Town is about 2 miles from London; we cover both, along with Chalk Farm, Holloway and Islington.
What the law says in Camden Town
In Camden Town, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do school fire doors cost in Camden Town?
Budget around £1,100 to £2,400 per doorset for school fire doors supplied and fitted in Camden Town, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
Where school fire doors are used in Camden Town

London has the UK's largest concentration of purpose-built flats and high-rise residential blocks, so flat entrance doors, communal corridor doors and regulation 10 checks drive much of the demand.
