Getting school fire doors fitted in Forth Valley
Across Forth Valley we handle school fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
What the law says in Forth Valley
In Forth Valley the building standards come from the Scottish Technical Handbooks rather than Approved Document B, and existing non-domestic premises fall under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005. We specify doorsets against the Scottish requirements and your fire risk assessment.
What do school fire doors cost in Forth Valley?
Guide prices for school fire doors in Forth Valley run from about £1,100 to £2,400 per doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
