Regulations for glazed fire doors in Forth Valley
In Forth Valley the building standards come from the Scottish Technical Handbooks rather than Approved Document B, and existing non-domestic premises fall under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005. We specify doorsets against the Scottish requirements and your fire risk assessment.
What do glazed fire doors cost in Forth Valley?
Guide prices for glazed fire doors in Forth Valley run from about £950 to £1,700 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.

Questions about glazed fire doors in Forth Valley

How quickly can you survey in Forth Valley?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Forth Valley. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can you fit just one door?
Yes — from a single door to a full building.
Does fire glass need to be safety glass too?
In low-level and door glazing, yes — many fire glasses also meet impact safety classes.
