Riser & Service Cupboard Doors for Nelson buildings
Need riser cupboard fire doors in Nelson? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Lancashire, starting with a free measure survey in and around BB9. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Where possible we combine Nelson surveys with other visits in Lancashire, such as Colne and Burnley, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
What the law says in Nelson
Because Nelson is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do riser cupboard fire doors cost in Nelson?
Expect roughly £550–£950 per single doorset for riser cupboard fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Nelson quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
