Riser cupboard fire doors in Rawtenstall: how we work
We fit fire-rated riser and service cupboard doors in Rawtenstall and the rest of Lancashire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Our Lancashire coverage includes Rawtenstall and its neighbours Accrington, Bury and Burnley; tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Which rules apply in Rawtenstall?
In Rawtenstall, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Riser cupboard fire doors prices in Rawtenstall
Budget around £550 to £950 per single doorset for riser cupboard fire doors supplied and fitted in Rawtenstall, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.

Do riser doors need closers?
