Our Pimlico supply and fit service
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits glazed fire doors in Pimlico, Greater London. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
Where possible we combine Pimlico surveys with other visits in Greater London, such as Westminster and Battersea, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Which rules apply in Pimlico?
Fire doors in Pimlico sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Guide prices in Pimlico
Expect roughly £950–£1,700 per single doorset for glazed fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Pimlico quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
